Daniel moved to Lunenburg from his native Quebec in 2019, looking for a more peaceful life in harmony with nature. In 2023, he opened Waves & Light - Art Gallery in Lunenburg to share his passion for photography and get involved in the community.

Daniel is recognized for his ability to capture the essence of the common wave, evoking an atmospheric quality that is both majestic and serene. He collaborates with Mother Nature and seizes moments in time in the spectacular beauty of oceans and coastlines.

Daniel has a Ph. D. in Education and a college diploma in film production. He taught for fifteen years at the University of Montreal and founded Media-coach, a company specializing in video training and train-the-trainer. When he is not in the gallery, he spends most of his time photographing the shores of Nova Scotia, exploring the coasts by kayak, and creating furniture and decorative art objects.
